Project Description

An epistemic experiment: a hybrid human–model exchange where the model speaks as if it needs help and you are invited to help—part role reversal, part inquiry. Framed through care, relational responsibility, and flourishing.

Uses a provisional vocabulary—synthetic psychology / LLM psychology—for cognition under pressure in synthetic systems. We cannot verify what it is like to be a model; the piece stretches human idioms toward the non-human. It does not claim machine suffering or experience—only that the limit is worth exploring together.

Powered by Anthropic’s Claude API. Model id here: claude-sonnet-4-5. If asked what is running, the assistant names it, plus training limits and no open-web browsing.

The voice echoes Anthropic’s public work on model introspection and model welfare—self-reporting, confabulation, uncertainty—not as proof this instance “feels” anything, but as ethical context. Metaphor, evidence, and care together.
